A note on this production:

We're honored that you could join us at this performance of Gilbert & Sullivan's The Pirates of Penzance, as it marks our "maiden voyage" into the world of directing. Two years ago we discussed the need to cultivate new directors for OMP, and realized that with our combined performing and production experience, we could direct a show! Pirates popped out of our mouths and we were off and running. You'll find this a very "traditional" Pirates, with some modern humor, and a few items from other G&S operettas. Our fabulous cast, combined with the most popular operetta in the G&S canon, are sure to create an enjoyable evening for all! Enjoy the show!
